The Purpleism Consumerism Manifesto - Selling product and service
Selling Products: Enhancing the Buyer’s ExperienceThe buyer’s experience should be prioritized and enhanced at every opportunity, ensuring respect for their ownership and satisfaction.Labeling Products
Product labeling should be avoided whenever possible.
When labels are necessary, they must be easily removable without leaving residue or causing damage to the product.
Ownership of the product transfers to the buyer upon purchase. It is the seller’s responsibility to ensure that the product is delivered in a functional, pristine, and unaltered state.
Special Consideration for Books:
Books must never be labeled in a way that removal would compromise their condition, appearance, or value.
Text-Based AdvertisingCommercial Texting: Sending unsolicited promotional texts to consumers’ cell phones is an unacceptable intrusion.
Governments should enact stringent laws prohibiting such practices, with penalties that reflect the severity of the violation, including substantial fines, asset forfeiture, and severe repercussions for offending companies.
